Tell us about yourself!

I am a senior, Biological Systems Engineering Major from Edinburg, Tx and the oldest of four children. Some of my hobbies include going to the beach, bay fishing, camping, volleyball, and hanging out with friends! I chose my major because of my love for solving problems and tying things together across disciplines.

What made you excited to be a part of the Cultivate ACCESS Program at UNL?

As an engineering student, I have always wanted a mentor. Now, I am able to give back to those coming after me by being an example that reaching your goals is possible with a bit of motivation and a whole lot of strong will.

What are your future goals?

I plan to further my education after completing my undergraduate degree. I could also potentially see myself as a sales engineer or a business owner in the biomedical engineering field.
