Career Choice as a Child: As a child I wanted to be Steve Irwin. For me that meant being a zoo keeper.

Favorite thing I've learned related to STEM: I recently took a wildlife field techniques course that was all about observing, capturing, and handling wildlife for research purposes.

Tell us about yourself!

I grew up in rural Nebraska and am the second youngest of six siblings. I spend my free time taking photos, hiking, and baking.

What made you excited to be a part of the Cultivate ACCESS Program at UNL?

I was excited to be a part of the Cultivate ACCESS because I wanted to be part of a program that values diversity.

What are your future goals?

In the future, I want to work in habitat and animal conservation and management.
