Favorite thing I've learned related to STEM: I learnt that through STEM one can enjoy being a scientist while developing agricultural field. Agriculture has been associated with just going on farms to deal with animals or plants but through STEM one learns that it i more than that.

Tell us about yourself!

I am an international student from Rwanda and a junior at UNL who is passionate about helping people and making an impact to those around me. I find a sense of fulfilment in influencing other people's lives using my knowledge and my talents. I am outgoing, I enjoy the company of other people, engaging in intellectual conversations while learning from others.I believe in equality and valuing others because everyone of us has got something to contribute in their own way.

What made you excited to be a part of the Cultivate ACCESS Program at UNL?

Cultivate access program is one of the best platforms that allows me to exercise my passion and I not only impact others but also learn so much from the amazing team I work with. Through cultivate access projects, I see myself making an impact to the world especially in young generation which will take agriculture to another level.

What are your future goals?

My future goals involve establishing my own company that has something to do with food and working with international organizations to fight hunger especially in vulnerable communities.
